Who we're looking for... Cogent Legal, LLC is seeking precision-oriented, 3D modelers/animators — architectural & product design backgrounds preferred. (LOCAL BAY AREA CANDIDATES ONLY, PLEASE) We're offering... \\- Oakland HQ - Full-time creative position for: Entry-level 3D professionals, accustom to producing photo-realistic assets; please provide a stunning visual portfolio (PDF, MP4 or URL) Maya masters / 3DSMAX wizards please apply (Cogent Legal uses primarily Autodesk AEC and Adobe CC products) 3D artists who are capable of reading architectural floor plans, sections, elevations and/or product designers who can build watertight 3D models — preferred 3D experts with real- world and/or general knowledge of the built environment. Ideal candidates have an interest, knowledge and/or professional experience using reality capture / photogrammetry software, self-starters, who have their own equipment/software, are ideal candidates momentarily due to COVID-19 logistical issues; Cogent Legal will provide software and/or hardware if/as needed for selected individuals. What you'll do at Cogent... \\- Develop highly-accurate 3D narratives, influencing mediations and trials - Produce convincing, realistic renderings and/or animations, that attorneys will rely on to be both accurate and compelling (V-Ray workflows preferred) As an entry-level 3D modeling professional on our team, you'll be coordinating with senior team members, as Cogent facilitates our ongoing relationships with a variety of exterior, client-hired experts, which extend across a vast array of disciplines (i.e. Human Factors specialists, Accident Reconstructionists, Architects, Structural/Product Engineers, and other professionals who support the legal community as expert witnesses) Evoking your many talents, our projects range greatly in typology; our hope for all our team members is to provide creative challenges and foster opportunities for growth and professional development.
