The selected candidate will work collaboratively with urban designers, landscape architects, planners, and engineers to help users successfully engage with the built environment. As an Environmental Graphic Designer at Toole Design, you will be responsible for leading the design of standalone wayfinding projects or leading EGD tasks within larger trails and urban design projects. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, landscape architecture, or related field from an accredited college or university and/or comparable work experience in lieu of a degree • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, industrial design, landscape architecture, or other related field • 3+ years' experience in wayfinding, including the preparation of design intent drawings demonstrating knowledge of fabrication techniques, relevant building/planning codes, and human-centered design • A portfolio demonstrating strong design skills • Proficiency in graphic production using Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with CADTools, SignAgent, GIS, and/or Sketchup preferred • Strong logic and writing skills that support the development of sign locations and messaging • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects. Project management experience is a plus.
