What You Will Do • As an Environmental Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the design of a wide variety of graphics, branded environment, signage, and way-finding projects • You will work as a key partner on fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, and more that deliver projects ranging from strategic planning to corporate and retail interiors • You will deliver creative solutions in a diverse range of markets including senior living/residential, aviation, sports, workplace, and retail Your Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field • 6+ years of directly relevant professional experience in Environmental Graphic Design (EGD), Signage Design, or Wayfinding • Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of creative approaches and fully realized, produced projects across signage, wayfinding, brand, and experiential design • Proven ability to translate brand identity into impactful, three-dimensional environments across a range of mediums • Skilled at developing detailed message schedules, location plans, and scaled drawings based on architectural construction documents • Comfortable working with architectural documentation including elevations, plans, and shop drawings • Strong planning and strategy skills in wayfinding—including site surveys, research, conceptual development, and documentation • Deep understanding of materiality, fabrication, and quality control throughout the design and production process • Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal design teams • Comfortable serving as a point of contact and collaborating across disciplines with architects and interior designers • Up to date on emerging design trends, materials, and technologies with a desire to contribute and share with the team • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment • Committed to sustainable design and building practices.
