You'll be expected to think conceptually and strategically while also bringing strong technical skills to carry your work through to final production.If you're someone who thrives in a creative, collaborative environment and wants to work on meaningful brand experiences that align with our clients' mission, vision, and purpose-this is your place.Learn more about Gensler's Brand PracticeWhat You Will DoAs an Environmental Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the design of a wide variety of graphics, branded environment, signage, and way-finding projectsYou will work as a key partner on fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, and more that deliver projects ranging from strategic planning to corporate and retail interiorsYou will deliver creative solutions in a diverse range of markets including senior living/residential, aviation, sports, workplace, and retailYour QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field6+ years of directly relevant professional experience in Environmental Graphic Design (EGD), Signage Design, or WayfindingStrong portfolio demonstrating a variety of creative approaches and fully realized, produced projects across signage, wayfinding, brand, and experiential designProven ability to translate brand identity into impactful, three-dimensional environments across a range of mediumsSkilled at developing detailed message schedules, location plans, and scaled drawings based on architectural construction documentsComfortable working with architectural documentation including elevations, plans, and shop drawingsStrong planning and strategy skills in wayfinding-including site surveys, research, conceptual development, and documentationDeep understanding of materiality, fabrication, and quality control throughout the design and production processExcellent communication and presentation skills with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal design teamsComfortable serving as a point of contact and collaborating across disciplines with architects and interior designersUp to date on emerging design trends, materials, and technologies with a desire to contribute and share with the teamAble to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environmentCommitted to sustainable design and building practices.
