The Partnership’s diverse activities include improving the environment for existing businesses; assisting with the creation of public spaces and streetscapes that promote an active and cohesive community; supporting and promoting Downtown Bellingham’s cultural assets; producing engaging community events and programs; and encouraging a unified sense of place and an engaged civic community. This part-time position plays a key role during Down- town Bellingham Partnership events and helps contribute to the organization’s marketing and promotions. With guidance and supervision from the Program Director and additional guidance from the Marketing and Communications Manager, this position is responsible for the following: Event Tasks • Assist Program Director with planning and execution of organization events. Promotional Tasks • Assist Marketing Manager with coordinating social media for the organization, including regular, engaging content posting and collaboration with staff. Two years of professional working experience in marketing or events may be substituted in place of a degree.
