Experience Designer - onsite in Pittsburgh or Cleveland

About the Team:

We're responsible for the customer facing and employee facing design systems. That’s the most widely used design system. We work on a set of design standards that drives efficiency with the internal development teams that are building.Initiatives/Projects: For 2026, the resource will be continuing to evolve the library for internal employee usage as a result of new demand / redesign work for employeesIndustry background: Design System experience/background huge plusTeam Dynamic: A large team that’s working across the primary design systems 9 designers total, 3 designers on internal employee design system pod.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Create and update documentation and graphics for design docsBuild, fix, and test Figma componentsCreate dev specsDesign and test Angular componentsCollaborate with content and ADA accessibility partnersStay up to date on competitive analysis of other design systemsAnswer help desk questionsAttend or facilitate open office hoursAttend or facilitate early Design Reviews with product designersAttend or facilitate design system Design ReviewsAttend or facilitate design system governance meetingsResearch, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance meetingsAttend or facilitate working sessions across product design teams to alignWork on special projects as requestedSystems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand and design across complex systemsCommunication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented approach. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

Required Skills: 3+ years of experience with a strong background in design systems, including hands-on experience with Figma, wireframing, WCAG accessibility standards, Confluence, and Jira.
