Experienced Graphic Designer

Job Overview Anagraphica is a custom printing company that has been locally owned and operated in the Salt Lake Valley for over 44 years. We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with strong technical drawing skills to join our team in the printing industry. Duties • Create and modify technical drawings and layouts for printed materials such as packaging, labels, signage, and instruction sheets • Prepare print-ready files according to press and finishing requirements (bleeds, color profiles, dielines, etc.) • Collaborate with prepress and production departments to ensure file accuracy and print compatibility • Develop and maintain dieline templates and technical guides for recurring products and customer jobs • Review and revise existing artwork for accuracy, alignment, and compliance with customer or regulatory specifications • Maintain organized records of project files, templates, and version histories • Communicate with internal teams to clarify technical requirements and timelines Requirements • 1-2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a printing or packaging environment • Strong background in technical drawing, layout design, and file preparation for commercial printing • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other vector-based or layout programs • Familiar with printing processes (offset, pad, digital, screen) and prepress standards • Solid understanding of color modes (CMYK, Pantone), resolution, imposition, bleeds, and trapping • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret customer specs and product requirements • Experience with dielines, cut paths, folding cartons, or label design is a strong plus • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
