Experienced Screen Printer

• Must be familiar with all Screen Print production processes • Screen reclamation and prep • Screen coating • Screen imaging and developing • Ink mixing and Pantone matching • Engineering sequences • Maintain crisp, clear, smooth prints on a variety of fabrics • Press set up and operation • Dryer settings and variables • Have knowledge of heat tolerances and curing plastisol ink on different fabric types. • QC and testing • Follows instructions provided in the production paperwork to verify product style, color and sizing; total quantity of the product; and verifies the correct design, graphics size, ink colors, and graphics placement • Responsible for using correct screens sequence on press • Responsible for using and verifying correct Pantone colors in the corresponding screens • Responsible for the proper selection of squeegee for the desired application • Must print pre-production test print for every order for approval prior to running production • Maintains and ensures press equipment is clean and in proper operating condition daily • Maintains a neat and efficient working area • Assists in solutions to improve efficiencies and can troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned • Must be strong, healthy, able to stand for 8-hour shift and lift up to 45 lb. boxes • Common sense, good judgement, and a good sense of humor • Embroidery and DTG experience is a plus • Dependable transportation
