Experienced Sign Designer / Production Specialist

S2 Imaging is a family-owned sign and graphics company that has proudly served local businesses for more than 35 years. We are seeking a skilled sign industry professional with hands-on experience in sign design, large-format printing, production workflows, and customer-facing project management.

This position is ideal for a skilled sign professional who understands design, prepress, large-format printing, and production workflows from concept through final output.

Key Responsibilities

· Design sign/graphic layouts and create production-ready vector artwork.

· Prepare files for large-format printing, cutting, and fabrication.

· Communicate directly with customers regarding project requirements, artwork approvals, and revisions.

· Create estimates, job orders, and production files.

· Operate large-format printers, plotters, and related production equipment. Assist with production, finishing, quality control, and project completion.

· Maintain organized files and an efficient workspace.

Qualifications

· Required: 2+ years of professional Adobe Illustrator experience creating production-ready artwork for signs, vehicle graphics, banners, or large-format print applications.

· Required: 2+ years of experience working in a sign shop, large-format graphics company, or commercial sign production environment.

· Required: 1+ year experience operating large-format printers and plotters.

· Strong understanding of print production processes and file preparation.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and load media onto printers, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

· Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

· Preferred: Experience with FlexiSIGN software.
