Fabricator (Maple Valley, WA) Compensation: DOE Employment Type: full-time 8:00am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday www.Maplevalleysigns.com Maple Valley Signs is searching for a fabricator to support the team by producing accurate, integral parts in accordance with approved architectural drawings. Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are required for this position along with 3-5 years experience programming design files and setting up appropriate tooling for the respective material.The operator will also engage in plotting, wide-format printing, laminating, assembly to maintain production flow. Housekeeping in a print shop is an ongoing battle, so it’s important to keep areas clean during and after use, and perform periodic machine and equipment maintenance to ensure all equipment is running well. Working knowledge of hardware, fastenings, anchors and glues Maintain a clean and organized workspace Programming operating and maintaining production equipment Finishing, painting and assembly Quality Control Proper use of hand tools and Personal Protective Equipment Ensure tools are functioning properly Monitor sheet and roll inventory and update as used Basic fabrication of non-illuminated metal cabinets, frames and architectural elements
