This faculty teaches graphic design courses in a professionally focused curriculum for NWSA high school and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs. The BFA graphic design program at New World School of the Arts (NWSA) prepares students for various professional outcomes with a strong foundation that addresses design, business, communication, technology, and art, encouraging interdisciplinary and collaborative work across the visual arts. Duties & Responsibilities • Teaches graphic design courses for both NWSA high school and college programs to include all levels of communication and graphic design and other related areas such as web design, motion graphics, and/or UI/UX • Participates in departmental, campus, and college affairs. Minimum Requirements • Master’s degree in Commercial Art, Computer Animation, Digital Design, Graphic Art, Graphic Design or Web Design; or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Commercial Art, Computer Animation, Digital Design, Graphic Art, Graphic Design or Web Design. • Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community.
