Fashion Designer – Menswear & Graphics

Navy Yard Clothing Company is seeking a Fashion Designer with strong menswear and graphic design skills to join our New York team.

Location: New York, NY — On-site

Employment: Full-time

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Research trends and develop seasonal menswear concepts and collections.

• Create original apparel graphics, prints, patterns, CADs, and technical flats.

• Prepare accurate tech packs for sampling and production.

• Develop woven shirts, knits, matching sets, fleece, and outerwear.

• Select fabrics, trims, colors, and design details.

• Work closely with the design and production teams on samples, fittings, and revisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of fashion design experience preferred, with a focus on men's apparel.

• Strong graphic design skills, including original artwork, prints, and garment graphics.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Strong CAD and tech pack skills.

• Understanding of menswear fabrics, garment construction, and fit.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.

• Chinese or Korean language skills are a plus.
