Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead (Primary Role) / Assistant Graphic Designer (back up as needed) to join our creative team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend leadership with hands-on design work and ensuring the seamless execution of visual projects across various platforms.
As a key contributor, overseeing production will be crutial to keeping workflow seemless and efficient . Your energetic approach and passion for design will help elevate our brand presence and deliver high-quality visual content that resonates with audiences.
This is a FULL TIME, IN PERSON position.
Responsibilities
* Must have a Professional appearance and a Positive outlook.
* Prioritize workflow; communicate to production staff daily; supervise the production process.
* Primary duties are running printers/equipment and production.
* Organize workflow through the production process.
* Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction.
* Communicate with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner.
* Multi-task—work on different projects simultaneously.
* Keep the production area neat, clean and organized.
* Assess and maintain current technology; notify Franchisee of any needed updates.
* Train employees on equipment, tools and efficiency-building methods.
* Serve as a backup for overflow design needs.
* Serve as backup in answering the phone and assisting at front counter if the franchisee, center manager and sales/service employees are not available.
* Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Communicate with other employees regarding timing, extra charges, errors to enable them to keep customer advised of situations.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
* Participate in and practice the brand mentality of “Everybody Sells”. Constantly be looking for sales opportunities for the center.
* Understand the sales process to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions.
Qualifications
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to use light equipment.
* Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator) *MUST have some experience
* Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
* Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
* Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
* Solid understanding of layout design and visual design best practices.
* Experience in sign manufacturing or production design is a plus.
* Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients or team members.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
