Overview: Join our team as a mid-level Graphic Designer and support the Defense Intelligence Agency by creating compelling visual content that communicates critical information effectively. Your contributions will ensure that important messages are conveyed with clarity and impact. Responsibilities:Collaborates with analysts to understand requirements and enhances analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutionsProvides graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products, including developing illustrations, editing existing images, managing fonts, and utilizing advanced pre-publication techniquesUses government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing contentIntegrates graphics with text, audio, and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence productsProduces dynamic content in accordance with IC published standards (e.g., D3 Style Guide), including podcasts or audio segmentsProvides user experience/user interface expertise for the development of interactive graphics and web products Qualifications: Must have a current Top Secret security clearance with a CI Polygraph At least eight years of experience in graphic design, with some of that experience gained within the last two yearsProven expertise in using professional graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, Apple Mac hardware, Map Publisher, Microsoft 365, and other specified interactive graphics tools, languages, or enablersFamiliarity with and ability to apply IC (Intelligence Community) and DoD (Department of Defense) classification standards and proceduresCapable of working independently with minimal supervisionAbility to logically evaluate and synthesize information from multiple sourcesSkill in creating timely, coherent, and concise graphic contentAbility to articulate complex issues clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communication, with strong grammatical skillsProficient in identifying subtle differences and resolving conflicting or inconsistent informationWorking knowledge of advanced analytic methodologies FedWriters is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.Why Join Our Team:At FedWriters, we place the highest importance on creating an exceptional employee experience.
