Job DescriptionJob Description500°ree; is looking for a Production Artist to join our Columbus, Ohio office. As a Production Artist at 500°ree;, you will play a fundamental role in translating creative concepts and designs into technically accurate assets for a variety of print, packaging, digital, and presentation materials. The ideal candidate is a meticulous individual with advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between initial designs and the finished product. What You'll Do: Finalize print/digital materials and create presentation materials for a wide variety of clientsMake creative/content updates to project files based on internal and/or client feedbackWork closely with the Creative Team to achieve professionally produced layoutsMaintain production, design, and process standards of the highest qualityImprove and modify files to increase the quality of production and ensure standards are metCheck typographic elements for optimal value – employing appropriate kerning, tracking, and word spacingEnsure accuracy of files, performing QA steps to check for proper font, color, logo, and separations in adherence to brand standards and project specificationsEvaluation and modification of project imagery as neededCreate folder structure and name files and supporting art according to production standardsManage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet project deadlines consistently Archiving and/or distribution of completed filesPrint review proofs on large format Epson and laser printersWhat You'll Need: Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent combination of experience2+ years production/design experienceProficient in the latest macOS and desktop publishing softwareAdvanced level experience with Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator & PhotoshopMust have willingness to learn motion graphics basicsStrong prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills to balance multiple demandsMust have extreme attention to detail, with a keen eye for visual accuracy and consistency What’s Nice to Have: Previous experience within an agency environment Prior working experience with Adobe After Effects
