ResponsibilitiesWith minimal supervision create impactful designs, concepts and layouts based on knowledge of best practices of layout and esthetic design conceptsCollaborate closely with others to get feedback to improve and evolve workDetermine size and arrangement of design materialsProvide timely, original creative content leveraging best practices in graphic designCreate visual representations that translate technical information and concepts that communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate customersUse a moderate level of independent judgment and artistic creativity to move designs from concept development to final design and hard copy deliveryExecute superb team collaboration, workflow initiations and adherence to office and design policies and proceduresProficient in front end web designPerform necessary production workBuild assets and post on all social media outletsResearch new software and design conceptsStay abreast of technological advances in the industry in order to remain competitiveMeet all scheduled deadlines RequirementsBachelor's degree in graphic design, art or other related discipline3-5 years of experience in graphic designExperience with Adobe Creative SuiteMac proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesignExcellent understanding of typography and solid foundation of design principlesFront end web design principals are required, HTML skills are not required but an understanding of code is a plusAttention to detail and strong multi-tasking skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsTeam-oriented, enthusiastic and agile Note: This position is based in Richmond, VA and candidates must be willing to work on-site in our office located in The Fan.
