Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: (includes, but not limited to) • Oversee and direct all activities of the personnel assigned to their shift by walking the production floor consistently throughout the shift • Ensure achievement of quality, production, productivity and safety goals for department • Maintain the accuracy and documentation of production reporting • Assist the Scheduling Department in defining and maintaining work flow through the department • Ensure adequate supply of materials for your shift’s operation • Oversee department manning requirements including vacation planning and coverage • Oversee employee training • Other duties as assigned by Management may require the use of personal protective equipment; ear-plugs, safety glasses, gloves, etc. • Position may require interaction with customers for production checks, and suppliers/vendors
