Freelance Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a freelance graphic designer to join our creative team and help bring compelling visual stories to life. This role is ideal for a designer who not only has strong design fundamentals but is also a creative thinker who enjoys collaborating, sharing ideas, and pushing concepts forward. This is a hybrid freelance opportunity in our Carlsbad office, with the flexibility to work on site as needed, and remotely the rest of the time. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a graphic designer (freelance or in‑house) with a strong, well‑rounded portfolio • Comprehensive understanding of key design element needs related to each platform placement (programmatic, paid social, homepage banner, etc.) • Understanding of design trends and latest tools to efficiently and effectively build content • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; motion or video skills are a plus) • Strong knowledge of golf and a genuine passion for the game • A creative thinker who enjoys problem‑solving and bringing new ideas to the table • Highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and openness to feedback • A self‑starter who works well independently and takes ownership of projects • Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage timelines, assets, and multiple workstreams • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup, requiring commutes to our Carlsbad office for onsite days • Bonus: Experience with studio and/or lifestyle photography
