Graphic Designer is needed in Chicago, United States. Client: Field Museum... Location: Chicago, IL Contract: Temporary Job Description • Creates graphic elements for the Field Museum’s exhibitions, public areas, and behind-the-scenes departments • Works under the supervision of a lead Graphic Designer and Graphic Design Manager • Collaborates with curators and team members to ensure scientific accuracy, accessibility, multiple languages, and cultural sensibilities • Reports to the Exhibitions Design Director • Expected to be onsite 3 days per week • Temporary one year term position Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Experience in fabrication and printing • Illustration skills are a plus • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to interpret technical drawings and design styles • Computer proficiency for extended periods Additional Information • Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for this role • The Field Museum is an equal opportunity workplace • Accessibility accommodations are available for the application process Posted in 15 hours
