Our advertising firm is looking for an experienced graphic designer to provide help to our team. This is a freelance position. You must be able to work in our Salem office occasionally. Qualifications • Education: • Associate (Required) • Location: • Salem, OR (Required) • Work Authorization: • United States (Required) Requirements: • Expertise in Illustrator and Photoshop • Experience in InDesign • Experience in Mac OS X • Excellent written English language skills • Demonstrated attention to typography and accuracy in layouts • Experience in publication production or design environments • Ability to identify and solve problems in a production environment • Essential professional skills including business communication and organization • Experience in updating and maintaining WordPress sites • Experience with website and email hosting companies • Experience with social media content creation • Relevant Skills & Experience: • Degree in graphic design • At least 2 years of experience as a graphic designer • Understanding of design and development workflow • Strong organizational and communication skills (detail- oriented personality is a must) • Editorial or writing background including proofreading or copyediting Other Relevant Skills a Plus • Working knowledge of Hootsuite • Working knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 • Working knowledge of SEO and SEM • Illustration, photography, animation and video production To apply please send your resume, cover letter and design samples or portfolio link to the email address provided in this post.
