Role Description This is a freelance contract opportunity for a Vector Graphic Designer specializing in luxury packaging and label production. The designer will prepare existing Blacq Caviar Corp artwork and brand assets into professional, production-ready vector files for supplier manufacturing. Responsibilities include refining approved label designs, preparing SVG/vector artwork, ensuring print accuracy, and maintaining the established luxury aesthetic of the brand.
This project is remote-friendly and will begin with packaging labels, with potential opportunities for future brand design projects.The designer will create and refine vector graphics for packaging, labels, and related print materials, ensuring all designs align with brand standards and production specifications. Day-to-day tasks include developing layout concepts, preparing print-ready files, collaborating with branding and marketing stakeholders, and iterating on designs based on feedback. The role involves working closely with printers and suppliers to confirm technical requirements, color accuracy, and material compatibility. The designer will also assist with logo adaptations, typography choices, and visual consistency across product lines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for packaging, labels, and print-ready artwork.Experience with Logo Design and Branding to maintain and evolve a cohesive visual identity.Proficiency in Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and legibility for packaging and labels.Advanced ability with vector-based design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or comparable software).Knowledge of print production processes, color management (CMYK, spot colors), and dieline creation.Demonstrated portfolio of packaging or label design work in consumer products or related industries.Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to iterative feedback.Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial.
