North Arrow Studio has an opening for a full-time designer. We are looking for an enthusiastic and disciplined applicant with a solid foundation in construction documents and an interest in boutique commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

Site AnalysisCode and zoning research and analysisProject ManagementManage residential and commercial projects during development and constructionDrafting & 3D ModelingPrepare construction drawings and digital modelsJob Site ObservationsConduct site visits to observe construction progress, document conditions, and understand how drawings translate into built workRenderings & GraphicsCreate compelling visualizations, diagrams, presentation materials, and client-facing graphicsResearchMaterial investigations and product sourcingMarketing & Business Development SupportProject documentation, social media content, website updates, and publication supportGeneral Studio SupportA variety of evolving tasks that support the design and construction process. We are a small office, and we value adaptability.
Qualifications

Design professional with 4–7 years of experience in an architectural practiceSkilled in COA code and zoning rules and analysisProficient in preparing construction drawingsStrong design sensibility and graphic skillsProficiency in design and modeling softwareClear communication skills and professional demeanorComfortable communicating with consultants, reps., contractors, and othersOrganized, detail-oriented, and self-motivatedAbility to manage time effectively
