One of the best art galleries specializing in Realism, founded 38 years ago on Newbury St in Boston, in Lexington for 30 of the 38 years, is hiring a part- time assistant for the Gallery Assistant position. Position is mostly for 2 afternoons a week, Weds & Fridays, 12:30-4:30pm, but because of our schedule a 3rd afternoon may be needed temporarily- Thursday 12:30-4:30pm Looking for someone who is balanced in graphic design and HTML with knowledge of art a plus but not necessary. Best if live within a 30 minute drive & you must have your own car. These elements are: sales, client & artist interaction, marketing, deadlines, learning to prioritize, attention to the retail space, communication, learning about big picture as well as attention to detail.
