Graphic Artist

Overview Duties and Responsibilities • Design sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concept • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; select style and size of type • Prepare final electronic versions for printing and prepare printed mock-ups of all items being produced to reflect expectations of final product • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for illustrations, logos, and other materials as needed • Follow creative design trends to ensure that the Company’s materials are in-line with current trends and standards while adhering to corporate branding guidelines • Mounting adhesive material to coroplast • Performs other job related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalency • Current driver license • Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with Adobe CS 3 including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on a PC • Must be able to work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines • Strong analytical and communication skills both verbally and written • Very organized • Currently pursuing a degree in Art, Graphic Design or related degree program Physical Demands • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include standing and sitting • Physical demands with activity or condition may include a considerable amount of time walking, pulling, bending, reaching, carrying, standing, and stooping • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50 lbs • This does not reflect the full extent of the physical requirements.
