Graphic Artist

Reporting to the Production Manager this position will consist mainly of accurately interpreting and manipulating artwork files ensuring customers are able to sign-off on accurate proofs in a timely manner following print specifications for various printing platforms. This will include rotary, flatbed screens, LEN files, Hi-res proofs, files to order all tooling requirements, etc. Contribute to and participate in the continuous requirements for Press Fingerprinting and Color Profiling for all of RLG's printing platforms. The creation of P.O's to supply to our outside vendors will be required in conjunction with supplying accurate tooling files and specifications in order to meet production deadlines.Quality Control: Continually participate in the quality assurance program within the Art Process and any associated processes. Conduct regular training sessions on safety practices and ensure the team complies with industry standards.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Customers, Sales, Customer Service, Production Planning, Scheduling and Production, sharing information on project timelines, and material requirements.Training: Participate in regular and required graphics artist's employee training, as required.Special Projects: Provide support to any special Projects may be requested and assigned by the Production Manager, as required.
