ROLE
We need an experienced Graphic Artist at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Research & Development (R&D) - Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC). DHA R&D-MRDC is a global command supporting medical research for warfighter’s unique requirements. This division provides strategic communications, public affairs, marketing, and multimedia support to the PAO. In this role, you will design and publish visual products for slideshows, logos, publications, exhibits, and VIP/trade-show needs while ensuring 508-conformant outputs. RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, edit, produce, and publish high-quality visual products and display materials across print and digitalDeliver electronic and print outputs; ensure web deliverables and PDFs are 508-accessible with required alt tagsRegularly propose new concepts with contractor and Government teammates to produce militarily relevant contentProduce print deliverables in-house or at the highest quality possible for the costServe as on-site graphics POC to support reach-back; assist with gathering photos, maintaining the photo repository, and pre-client reviewsContinually update and maintain an image library across research areas for presentations and productionsEdit and format PowerPoints for consistency and uniformity across decks
QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated experience supporting DoD customersFamiliarization with AI Tools – preferredExperience using Adobe Creative Cloud
EDUCATONDegree in communication-related fields - preferred

Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of the time.
