Graphic Artist

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Artist to join our dynamic team. The Graphic Artist will collaborate with other team members to develop innovative designs that align with our brand identity and marketing goals. Duties • Create Art and or Customization of Existing graphics, advertisements, literature and other materials for print production and digital marketing including but not limited to social media posts, web site pages, videos, infographics and other deliverables • Creative direction and management of design and updates for existing and new labels, cartons, tubes and merchandising; with output of press production ready art • Creative input and brainstorming • Owning project initiatives to ensure execution in an effective and timely manner • Sourcing design elements from our existing library, Shutterstock, and other creative commons resources, as well as drawing digitally to create unique designs • Art File Organization (VERY IMPORTANT) • Sample and Custom Strike-off creation and management • Direction of photo shoots including product and environmental images Qualifications • WILL REQUIRE 4 Years of design • 3 years of work experience in a professional setting • College Graduate and have Degree in Graphic Design or related field • Must have portfolio of work that illustrates the range of print and digital design for this role • Highest Level skill on Adobe programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop to create digital graphics • Good time management and problem solving skills • Strong knowledge of fine art principles • Able to work and meet tight deadlines and project check points • Experience in color-matching • Detail Oriented • Keep and maintain lists - as well as the ability to prioritize and work that list • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, production staff, and designers - communication is key to our success • Strong teamwork skills • Very strong organizational skills • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook (email).
