Our client, a children’s apparel brand, is seeking a Graphic Artist to join their New York City based team! In this collaborative and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for creating new graphic and textile layouts for kid’s apparel.
Responsibilities:
Create original artwork and graphicsTrend research in kids/tween marketManipulate print repeats and design colorwaysColor matching, indexing and cleaning existing artworkEnsure graphics and artwork align with brand identityPrepare trend presentation materialsDevelop seasonal concept boardsPresent artwork to cross-functional teamsCollaborating with the design team to manage art deadlines and ensure that graphics are in line with customer image and aestheticCreate sample/production ready filesEnsure development of files for mass-market printing methods
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field3-5+ years of relevant experienceExpert photoshop and illustrator skillsCreative sketching skillsStrong sense of colorAbility to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environmentProactive team player with strong initiativeExcellent written and verbal communication skills
