This is an associate to hire opportunity.Graphic Artist ResponsibilitiesAssist the Graphics Department in preparing files and materials needed for print production, including both digital and flexographic printingKnowledge of Outlook, Google Sheets and Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator and PhotoshopKnowledge of Esko plug-ins and digital printing is preferred but not mandatoryKnow how to manipulate customer supplied files for production using these programsGraphic Artist RequirementsAssociate degree in Graphics Design or equivalent work experienceA team player willing to provide accurate and efficient customer serviceSelf-motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals and deadlinesExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficient in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopKnowledge of pre-press graphics, including bleed, trapping, stepping and distorting is preferred but we are willing to train the right personAbility to read a ruler is a mustKnowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systemsStrong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you will be working directly with the customers and other departmentsBenefits401(k), Health insurance, Life insurance, Paid time offQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
