What You'll Do... Specific responsibilities Junior Graphic Artist will include: • Using illustration, photo editing, 3D modeling, and animation software to create images and animations for use in courseware and technical manuals • Creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional images depicting objects in motion, illustrating a process, or depicting technical data using computer illustration, animation, or modeling programs • Consulting with Subject Matter Experts and Technical Publication Writers to determine graphics requirements and design layouts • Creating design concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout and design principles • Incorporating changes requested by our government customer or art lead into final designs • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required Who You Are: • You have a bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related degree field • You are skilled in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite • You are able to create technical illustrations • You have experience with motion graphics and/or video • You’ve got a keen eye for aesthetics and detail • You have the demonstrated ability to work within the production pipeline to meet deadlines • You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers • You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written • You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision • You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Your organizational skills are impressive, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities Security Clearance Requirements: • This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
