Harrisburg Magazine is hiring a graphic designer for their magazine. The role involves creating magazine spreads, designing ad campaigns, and converting print materials into digital formats. Responsibilities • Creating eye-catching magazine spreads with articles/photos provided by the editorial staff • Designing ad campaigns for a wide variety of clients • Creating promotional materials for Harrisburg Magazine brand • Converting print materials into digital files • Creating weekly posts on HarrisburgMagazine.com • Keeping a record of files for each month by organizing articles, photos, and packaged files • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design Skills • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) • Strong understanding of color theory and composition • Experience with digital design principles and techniques • Familiarity with WordPress for website maintenance and updates • Basic photography skills for product shots or image manipulation • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts • Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (Required) • Ability to Commute: Harrisburg, PA 17112 (Required) Benefits • Paid time off
