Graphic Artist needed for FUN screen print shop

You should have an eye for detail as well as people skills. Being self motivated is key. Communication both with customers and production team is very important. We run a very collaborative team so a collaborative attitude is crucial. Responsibilities Liaise with clients to design and produce new logos for apparel Review graphics, layouts and fonts before projects are completed Finalize designs using image editing software Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital formats Suggest and apply image Improvements for printing purposes Manage pre-press process for print files Follow deadlines to ensure timely completion of projects Follow up with clients to ensure their requirements are met Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software skills **Required** -2 years of progressive experience in graphic design OR completion of relevant college level education -Portfolio of completed graphic designs and creative projects -Hands-on experience/ proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and secondarily Photoshop (you will be expected to work in Illustrator primarily) -Solid knowledge of the printing process and preflighting tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) -An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines -Creativity skills with attention to detail -Experience in the Screen printing industry is a plus.
