Graphic Arts Designer

The Graphic Arts Designer creates compelling visual content for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum's Marketing and Guest Experience Division. The role involves designing printed and electronic materials, managing projects from concept to completion, and maintaining the institution's visual identity and brand consistency. The designer will work with both traditional and digital techniques, coordinating with internal staff and external media partners to produce publications, promotional materials, and visual communications.Key qualifications:Four years of college with concentration in art, computer art, graphic design or related subjectOne year of experience in art/design production or graphics in both printed and electronic mediaTwo years of professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat Professional)Two years of experience creating effective formats for forms, booklets, newsletters, and agency publicationsAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlines and exercise self-disciplineAbility to translate ideas into graphic expressions
