Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise is seeking candidates for a position as a Graphic Designer / Prepress and Production Artist in our Manchester, NH location.

Bring ideas to life as a Graphic Designer / Prepress and Production Artist. You’ll create engaging visual assets for print and digital channels, guide concepts from initial design through production, and prepare files to meet technical specifications. Your work will support clear, consistent marketing and brand communications.

Minimum Qualifications required for consideration:

High level of proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; primarily InDesign and Illustrator.
Associate's degree in graphic design or related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Passion for print and promotional product design and production.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively work in a team environment

Responsibilities

Develop visual concepts, art direction, branding, logo design, illustration, digital art, and marketing design for print and digital projects.
General typesetting and page layout of customer projects from business cards to banners.
Preparing and printing of digital files, checking fonts, links, and colors, creating bleeds, crops, imposing art and exporting as PDF files.
Use graphic design software and digital design tools to deliver accurate, production-ready work.
Collaborate with stakeholders, present design concepts, courteously with clients to assist them with the creation of their jobs.
Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring that client files are accurate, and the finished job exceeds customer expectations.
All Digital Print, finishing and bindery duties such as cutting, folding, stapling, padding, etc.
Equipment maintenance and inventory management.
Keep an organized digital file system, using our franchise process.
General shop upkeep and organization

Experience

Professional art or design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating graphic design, visual design, layout design, typesetting, and print design.
Your impact will help deliver polished materials and gives audiences a consistent brand experience.
