Onondaga Community College's School of Art, Communications, Music, and Entrepreneurship is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure track faculty appointment in Graphic Design within the Art, Communication, Media & Music Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in graphic design, a thorough knowledge of contemporary industry-standard software, and a background in teaching at the community college level. The role encompasses several major responsibilities including being responsive to student inquiries, utilizing appropriate technology to enhance learning, assessing learning outcomes, and adapting the curriculum to meet educational objectives. Providing academic advising to support timely degree completion, innovating lecture presentations and hands-on learning activities, and delivering timely feedback on assignments and exams are also key components of this position. , • OR Master's degree in a related field with area of concentration in graphic and/or fine arts and teaching experience in either higher education or grades 9-12. , • OR Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer graphics, photography, multimedia design), with at least 4 years of professional experience working in the field of art, media, or graphic design and at least 12 credits of upper-level undergraduate or higher coursework in art theory, color theory, visual communication, art history, computer art, photography, or computer/digital graphics.
