This role is essential in elevating GRID’s brand, mission, and impact while positioning the organization as a leader in renewable energy access for economic and environmental justice communities.Reporting to the Senior Director of Storytelling and Communications, the Design and Brand Manager will oversee brand identity, produce high-quality visual assets, and collaborate across departments to support GRID’s marketing and communications strategy. Strong collaboration skills, adaptability, and a commitment to personal and professional growth in an inclusive work environment are key to success in this role.Responsibilities:Lead the development of creative visual concepts that align with our mission, and support storytelling initiatives that humanize our work Lead the design and creative development of internal and public-facing materials, including GRID’s annual Impact Report, innovative program collateral, and materials for emerging initiatives, combining innovation and storytelling to highlight the organization’s achievements and support its goals effectively Maintain and organize design assets in Canva, ensuring ease of access and consistent application of branding elements across teams, and design in Adobe Creative Suite, as needed Lead graphic design and develop improved internal presentation templates for staff use Support sub-brands and regional offices with the review and creation of graphic design assets, ensuring adherence to GRID’s brand guidelines Lead the creation of new marketing materials and update outdated collateral to reflect GRID’s rebranding efforts Collaborate with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to develop high-quality brand assets for marketing collateral, fundraising campaigns, and brand awareness initiatives Maintain GRID’s photo and video library, ensuring easy access to high-quality visual assets Support GRID’s main website (Drupal) with updates, including adding images, graphics, and new content to enhance user experience Lead website content management and development, supporting regional offices with troubleshooting and updates, and optimizing website update operations Optimize SEO and manage SEM strategies, providing web analytics insights to inform digital strategies Support the organization’s microsites and landing pages, such as the Energy for All website and Low-Income Policy Guide website (Word Press), with updates and maintenance Develop marketing materials for major programs like the…
