Graphic Design and Marketing Specialist

This role will work with the Marketing and Communications team and be responsible for the creation of marketing and outreach materials that help the chambers connect with their audiences. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Developing visual concepts and designing marketing materials that effectively communicate with target audiences • Create print and digital marketing materials including flyers, social media graphics, event programs, and more, through Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and InDesign • Incorporate feedback from Management to create multiple revisions of creative deliverables • Assist with updating websites for the California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce and the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce using WordPress • Collaborate with internal departments on design needs, ensuring a strong correlation between department needs and goals and the designed materials • Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance chamber marketing efforts in alignment with our brand • Generate and edit all graphic design needs, including website, social media, event materials • Help develop, evaluate, and oversee the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns • Assist with all aspects of marketing operations such as social media, graphic design, copywriting, website • Day-of support during major chamber events Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, graphic design, marketing or related field a plus • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator • Possess knowledge of basic marketing principles • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to write and articulate ideas in a persuasive, organized, and effective manner • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and handle multiple projects • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
