As Velour continues to grow, we are looking for a Graphic Design & Marketing Intern to join our team for Fall 2026. This role will report to the Social Media & Community Coordinator and Director of Marketing and support the development of creative assets across digital, social, events, and other brand touchpoints.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands how to work within an established brand identity, and is excited to gain hands-on experience across both creative and broader marketing initiatives. While the role will primarily focus on graphic design and content creation, this person will also assist with events, partnerships, and day-to-day marketing needs.
HOURS OF WORK: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours per week)
COMPENSATION: Hourly
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Designing on-brand graphics and creative assets primarily using CanvaCreating assets for social media, email marketing, events, partnerships, print materials, and other brand initiativesSupporting the development of event collateral, signage, invitations, menus, gifting materials, and other branded touchpointsAssisting with event planning, preparation, setup, and executionSupporting the marketing team with day-to-day creative and marketing needsAssisting with social media and content needs as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for graphic design, marketing, communications, digital media, or a related fieldMust be available to work in-person in NYCStrong design sensibility with excellent attention to detailProficiency in Canva requiredExperience with Adobe Illustrator and/or other Adobe Creative Suite programs is a plusAbility to work within established brand guidelines while bringing a creative point of viewComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentProactive, resourceful, and willing to jump in wherever needed“No Task Too Big” attitude
