Overview

Join our Creative Services team as a Graphic Design Apprentice, where you'll have the opportunity to transform ideas into stunning visual designs. This role provides hands-on experience in creating layouts and assets for both print and digital channels. Collaborate with talented designers, writers, and marketing strategists to create impactful brand communications. A portfolio submission is mandatory for consideration.

Your Responsibilities

Create visually appealing designs that align with our brand and marketing goals. Develop layouts and creative assets for various print and digital platforms. Work closely with teams including designers, writers, and strategists to ensure cohesive brand messaging. Utilize principles of typography, color, and layout to produce high-quality design work. Incorporate feedback effectively to enhance design outputs. Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Keep files organized and adhere strictly to brand standards. Execute additional duties as assigned. Your Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design or related degree program. Solid foundation in design principles, particularly typography and layout. Exceptional attention to detail and strong creative problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Familiarity with Mac operating systems. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. A collaborative spirit and openness to constructive feedback. Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English. Bonus Qualifications

A diverse portfolio showcasing your creative design work. Experience working on real-world or client-focused design projects. A track record of thriving in fast-paced team environments. Compensation and Benefits

At Brightstar, we value a variety of factors when determining compensation, including skills, experience, and location. The estimated starting pay for this role ranges from $20.00 to $24.50 per hour, with variations based on individual qualifications. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft protection (subject to eligibility requirements).
