POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Design compelling and accessible visual content that supports Albert Einstein College of MedicineCreate print and digital products and materials as directed by Director of Creative Services and Project Manager, including but not limited to: brochures, postcards, invitations, reports, digital signage, social media assets, infographics, presentations, proposals, and posters.Execute art direction as provided by Director and Lead Graphic DesignersIterate designs based on feedback from clients and colleaguesEnsure materials reflect appropriate brand identityAct as responsible party for assigned jobs, ensuring timely delivery of final productManage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production requirementsProfessionally and collegially work and communicate with clients and colleagues Prepare final files for both digital and print productionCoordinate effectively with print vendors to execute final deliverablesAccurately and effectively track time in timekeeping system
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer with print and digital design experience; Appropriate combination of relevant experience and education may be consideredStrong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and awareness of current trends in graphic designProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and WordAbility to work on Mac platform Familiarity with Canva and DropboxExcellent organization skills and attention to detailHighly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skillsStrong written and oral communications skillsAbility to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced work environmentThis is a part-time position requiring 15 hours per week, typically worked in 7.5-hour shifts. Candidates must be available to meet this scheduling requirement.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
