Graphic Design Assistant Professor

Duties and Responsibilities Provide classroom instructions for Graphic Design, Typography, and Computer Graphics in accordance with academic standards Employ diverse instructional strategies that engage students with contemporary practices Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, creative problem solving, and discussion Utilize the Canvas learning management systems Provide timely, constructive feedback and respond to student communications within 24-48 hours Advise students each semester Maintain an active studio practice and professional exhibition or creative record Participate in departmental, college, and institutional efforts related to retention, recruitment, continuous improvement, and accreditation Provide excellent service to the University and community Maintain office hours (minimum of 10 weekly per semester to cover a Monday thru Friday work week) Perform other duties as assigned Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
