Vascular Cures is an innovative, entrepreneurial healthcare foundation supporting the millions of patients with vascular diseases outside the heart, such as aneurysms, stroke, and peripheral artery disease. Vascular disease affects many aspects of human health and is an enormous and rapidly growing problem, given an aging population. We're now looking for a contract-based Graphic Designer to join our team. Responsibilities for Graphic Designer \\- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral, including social media posts, quarterly newsletters, and educational materials \\- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule \\- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on the creative direction for the organization, including implementing best practices for patient-facing materials \\- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions \\- Assist Social Media manager with video creation and editing Qualifications for Graphic Designer \\- Education in graphic arts, design, or related field (online boot camps or other virtual training acceptable) \\- 2-5 years of experience in graphic design \\- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web \\- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred \\- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software \\- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects \\- Ability to design professional yet accessible materials to reach both our medical professional and patient audience Role is offered on a project basis for an independent contractor. Contractor will submit work primarily to the Director of Marketing while also working closely with the Social Media Manager and programs team to execute programmatic designs.
