Under the direction of the Associate Director for Communications & Content, this position will create design elements for use in internal and external marketing campaigns, academic and fundraising initiatives, events, and programs of the School of Public Affairs (SPA) at American University. The position works collaboratively with members of SPA's communications staff including the director, associate director, and web manager, to produce a wide range of collateral to support SPA's and American University's brand strategy. • Other duties as needed: Other duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the Director and/or Associate Director of Communications which may include managing student workers, scheduling rooms, and organizing internal meetings. • Employees in staff positions at American University must deliver their services to the university from either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on-site at the university. • Please note this job announcement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
