Graphic Design Intern

The intern will be an integral team player that will contribute to company marketing and communications while working on diverse design projects (i.e. print, web, social media, video and more). Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies • Must possess creativity • Must be an innovative self-starter • Be passionate about design and current trends in graphic design • Ability to demonstrate advanced design skills with attention to detail and visual excellence • Must possess strong conceptual thinking and have the ability to transform a simple idea into a great design for various formats • Must be quick, competent, & comfortable working under tight deadlines - effectively executing ideas through multiple iterations and rounds of review • Demonstrates a creative, flexible and results-oriented work ethic and attitude • Ability to receive direction and work independently (join collaboration meetings and actively participate in brainstorming sessions with team) • Must be proficient in popular design software (i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or have the propensity for learning new design tools • Must be proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
