Graphic Design Intern

Location

We are hiring for a Graphic Design Intern position to start in July.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

General Description
In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to promote the dining program at Boise State University. This involves designing and editing marketing materials, presentations, newsletters, and all other graphic design needs for campus. This internship allows you to spearhead various projects and request assignments to expand your knowledge base.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Customer service experience and knowledge.
Previous graphic design experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
General interest and knowledge in marketing.
Knowledge of social media platforms.
Prior marketing related experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities (May include any or all)

Assist with designing marketing pieces for promotions and events.
Assist with Dine on Campus initiatives.
Assist with social media graphic development.
Act as a brand representative.
Conduct marketing audits.
Work with other dining interns on various projects.
Assist in developing client newsletters and communications.
Manage signage in multiple locations.
Assist in creating concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate messages to the target market.
Assist in managing website and social networking profile content.
Attend meetings or other events as required.

Learn how to create and implement marketing pieces for public viewing.
Learn how to use multiple platforms and strategies to effectively promote a brand.

This is a paid intern position; however, it is not eligible for paid time off (PTO) or benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work. These periods may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff. However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at different locations during break periods.
