Graphic Design Intern

STUN Agency has an opening for a Graphic Design Intern at our Mid City Baton Rouge office. This is a paid, in-office internship position for approximately 25–30 hours per week during the Summer, with the possibility of continuing into the Fall semester. Experience and Abilities2–3 years of graphic design education or related coursework preferredFamiliarity and competency working in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopUnderstanding of design fundamentals including typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchyInterest in project designs that extend from identity to publications to packaging to web and everything in betweenAbility to contribute original, thoughtful design ideas while also executing production work accurately and efficientlyWillingness to handle both creative assignments and day-to-day agency support tasksAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while handling deadlines, new challenges, and changing prioritiesHumility and a willingness to complete the task at hand, no matter the prestige of the project or recognition awardedWillingness to take direction from the Creative Director, Art Director, and the Project ManagerDesire to learn and grow as a designer, problem solver, strategist, and person Also a plus, but not required: illustration, copywriting skills, After Effects, animation, video skills, or photography.
