Graphic Design Intern

Summary: TrackTown USA is a non-profit organization committed to hosting premier track and field events and inspiring the next generation of athletes. They are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to aid in the coordination and execution of graphic content for their events and online platforms. Responsibilities: - Play a key role in brainstorming and developing unique graphic content for website, email, and social media distribution - Assist in providing graphics related to coverage of all TTUSA events, as outlined below - Be available to assist at all TTUSA events, as outlined below - Implement guidance and feedback provided by mentor Justin McIntyre, TrackTown USA Art Director Required Qualifications: - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to work accurately and effectively on tight deadlines - Demonstrated experience with and/or commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, in support of an inclusive and welcoming environment - Willing and able to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and academic breaks as needed, including all TrackTown events as required - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when the need arises - Passionate about the advancement of the sport of track & field - Strong organizational skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro - Must be a college student enrolled at an accredited university Required Skills: Adobe Creative Suite Important Skills: Graphic Design, Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication Skills, Organizational Skills
