Graphic Design Intern

Build your portfolio and get creative at one of the top zoos in the country!The Graphic Design Intern will assist in visually supporting and enhancing our mission to: Enjoy. Inspire. Educate. Act. Projects created through this position will have the opportunity to be featured on Zoo grounds, events, social media platforms and toledozoo.org.This position reports to the Director of Visual Communications and is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.Minimum Training and ExperienceMust have completed at least one year in a graphic design or visual communications design undergraduate programSubmit a resume and digital portfolio of projects from college courses or previous internship programsProficient in an iMac environment, Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365Understands layout, typography, hierarchy and adhering to brand standardsAbility to work on multiple projects under tight deadlinesExcellent organization skills with digital filing systemsWorks well with a team and with others across multiple departmentsStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsA resume and link to your portfolio is required as part of your application.The Toledo Zoo offers exclusive access to PNC Earned It, powered by Daily Pay.
