All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.We are seeking a self-motivated, creative, and collaborative Graphic Design Intern to join our remote team. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will support the Marketing Team in translating strategic marketing goals into compelling visuals that tell a story, engage our audience, and elevate the KCL brand. This is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity to grow your portfolio and gain professional design experience in a fast-paced digital environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign engaging marketing assets, including: social media graphics, email headers and banners, infographics, website feature images, and animated GIFs.Collaborate closely with designers, content writers, analysts, and social media managers.Manage multiple design tasks, adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines.Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and provide/receive feedback.Support the development of reusable design templates in Canva and Figma.Contribute to sponsored content designs and branded partnerships.Communicate with team members via Zoom, Slack, Asana, and email.QualificationsPortfolio demonstrating design capabilities (required)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Familiarity with Figma (preferred)Experience or coursework in UI/UX or motion graphics (a plus)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong visual communication and time management skillsInterest in marketing and digital mediaSchedule & Time CommitmentAvailability: 20 hours/weekDays: Monday through FridayCore hours: Between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM MT (flexible)Occasional Needs: Some weekend or evening work may be required based on campaign needs or team collaboration.What You'll GainHands-on experience with cross-functional marketing and creative teamsA stronger, real-world portfolio of work for a nationally recognized brandMentorship and guidance from experienced graphic designersExposure to tools like Slack, Zoom, Asana, Canva, and Figma in a professional settingPhysical RequirementsUse of Fingers: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
