As an intern with Maxxima you will gain experiential learning and exciting opportunities to enhance your many skill sets. We’re looking for a current student to show us their creativity working with us onsite 3 days a week as a graphic design intern. Your focus will be on the creation of high-level digital assets for our web listings including product photography, feature highlights and infographics. **During this internship you will:** -Apply branding guidelines to info PDFs, instruction manuals, and product diagrams -Add content to our website through our eCommerce Magento platform -Clip and edit product photos -Create packaging layouts and prepare files for print -Create visual layout and concepts for digital ads -Take on other related tasks within the department as assigned **Qualifications:** -Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a course of study in graphic or web design, marketing, or similar degree program -Design portfolio is required for all applicants -Demonstrate graphic design expertise (Photoshop) and precision using superior photo editing skills -Detail-oriented and able to follow direction well -Ability to multitask without diminishing quality -Ability to effectively work independently or within a collaborative team -Photography skills a plus -Experience in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign a plus (office is PC based) -Coding or basic HTML knowledge a plus -We’ll work together to create a flexible onsite work schedule. This internship requires at least 15-20 hours a week and could potentially continue through the Fall 2022 semester.
